Our values in life define us. Our players and coaches alike are guided and challenged to practice our values on and off the pitch as we strive to develop their characters.
‘Be R.E.A.L’
Every player up to the age of 12 is challenged to become the REALEST. From the moment they join, their journey begins. The tasks below are the steps they must take to earn the Value Badges. Once earned, the Value Badge is stitched to their match kit to show that they are on course to completing their quest to become the REALEST. 
❍ Define the meaning of the word respect
❍ Interview a role model/player that they respect and create a poster
❍ Demonstrate respectful behaviour throughout the season (e.g. shaking hands, using appropriate language)
❍ Run or support a respect campaign (e.g. The FA’s respect campaign )
❍ Define the meaning of the word excellence
❍ Find a role model/player that demonstrates excellence. Interview them or create a poster/booklet that shows how
❍ Demonstrate excellence throughout the season (e.g. always giving it their best)
❍ Pick an activity outside of football (e.g. music/acting) and perform for their teammates
❍ Define the meaning of the word appreciation and create a poster
❍ Demonstrate appreciation throughout the season (e.g. thanking coaches)
❍ Make/do something for their school, teammates and/or parents to say thank you (e.g. cards/cakes, help to clear up after training)
❍ Donate old clothes/boots to charity (check out our partner charity kitshareproject.com)
❍ Define the meaning of the word leadership
❍ Find a role model/player that demonstrates leadership. Interview them or create a poster/booklet that shows how
❍ Earn the captains armband through demonstration of leadership skills (e.g team ethics, communication and respect)
❍ Organise a small event (e.g a football tournament) to showcase your leadership skills in planning, doing and reviewing.
